We invited residents from 2 of our local elderly care homes to come and join us for afternoon tea. A fantastic choir from Nash Mills School came to and sang to our guests before they had afternoon tea.
Father Christmas then made an appearance and took time to talk to the choir and guests.
Our guests then moved into the back of the church for a wonderful afternoon tea with plenty of volunteers to be serve hot drinks, sandwiches and cakes. The music continued into the afternoon tea with Melanie playing her flute.
Our local council gave us a grant to help out with cake stands, hot water urn and some new mugs.
A great time was had by all. We are very grateful to Nash Mills School choir for coming.
